HEVC power generation valves cover critical isolation, flow control, steam conditioning and reverse-flow protection in power-plant piping. This collection brings together high-pressure gate valves, globe valves and check valves, HP / LP turbine bypass valves, severe-service control valves, extraction steam check valves and triple-offset butterfly valves.
Compare the product platforms for main steam, reheat steam, boiler feedwater, turbine systems and cooling-water service. Individual product pages provide the published size and pressure ranges, available configurations and project selection requirements.
High-pressure gate valves provide isolation options for main-steam piping, reheat lines, boiler feedwater and associated high-pressure systems. The published gate-valve platform covers DN50–DN900 / NPS 2–36 and pressure classes through Class 4500 Special. Flexible wedge and double-disc configurations are selected against the actual operating conditions.
High-pressure globe valves support steam and feedwater shutoff, with throttling duties reviewed against pressure drop and the selected trim. High-pressure check valves provide non-return protection for feedwater, pump-discharge and selected steam systems. Both published platforms cover DN50–DN400 / NPS 2–16, with pressure classes through Class 4500 Special.
Main-steam isolation valve and feedwater valve selection requires the design pressure, temperature, medium, differential pressure and required leakage acceptance. Platform ranges do not imply that every size, material and construction is available at the maximum rating.
HP / LP turbine bypass valves support steam management during startup, shutdown, turbine trip and load transitions. Pressure reduction, desuperheating and actuation requirements are reviewed together against the plant operating sequence and steam conditions.
Severe-service control valves address steam and feedwater duties where pressure drop, cavitation, erosion or noise drive trim selection. Specify inlet and outlet conditions, minimum and maximum flow, required control range and actuator response when comparing configurations.
Extraction steam check valves provide reverse-flow protection for extraction-steam lines and feedwater-heater systems. Closing response, actuator logic and fail action are defined for the turbine-protection requirements; published project capabilities do not establish a universal closing time for every valve.
Triple-offset butterfly valves complement the high-pressure steam portfolio for circulating-water, cooling-water, utility and selected steam isolation. The BTT / TTM platform covers DN80–DN2000 / NPS 3–80 and Class 150–900. Review water quality or process composition, seat construction, flange interfaces, actuator duty and pressure-temperature suitability for the selected model.
Start with the piping system and operating duty: isolation, controlled shutoff, modulating control, bypass or reverse-flow protection. Provide line size, connection type, operating and design pressure, minimum and maximum temperature, medium and flow conditions. For control and bypass duties, include pressure drop, flow cases, steam-conditioning requirements and the operating sequence.
Confirm body and trim materials, pressure-temperature ratings, actuation, fail position, installation space and inspection requirements. Supercritical and ultra-supercritical power-generation service requires configuration-specific review of high-temperature materials, sealing and thermal cycling.
ASME B16.34 and other design, piping, connection and test standards are applied where relevant to the selected valve and project specification. Define shell-pressure testing, seat-leakage acceptance, dimensional requirements and any performance or operational validation in the inspection plan.
Specify valve drawings, material certificates, inspection records, actuator data and required test reports before ordering. Manufacturing-platform qualifications and project references describe the broader capability; individual valve certifications, ratings and documentation are confirmed for the quoted configuration.
