The high-pressure magnetic float level gauge series dedicated for steam drums is widely applied in industrial sectors such as petrochemical, metallurgy and thermal power plants for liquid level monitoring.
It is especially popular and extensively used on boiler steam drums of 50MW, 125MW, 200MW, 300MW and 600MW units in thermal power plants.
This steam drum-specific high-pressure magnetic float level gauge features simple structure, clear indication, low maintenance workload, low cost, safety and high reliability.
It consists of three parts: gauge body, float and indicator. The gauge body is made of stainless steel, and the float adopts high-strength titanium alloy, with excellent performance of high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance and corrosion resistance.
The magnetic steel inside the float is made of high-temperature resistant rare-earth samarium-cobalt permanent magnet material. Its Curie temperature for complete demagnetization reaches 800℃, and it maintains permanent magnetism without demagnetization under conventional working conditions of 380℃~550℃.
The ceramic rotor of the indicator is designed in two colors: red-green or red-white. Driven by the magnetic force of the internal float, the rotor rotates in a half-cycle mode. It turns green (white) as the liquid level rises and red as the liquid level drops, with the color boundary indicating the actual liquid level. A red-green LED electronic display is also optional.
Scales are installed on both sides of the indicator for liquid level value reading. To ensure flexible up-and-down movement of the float and prevent iron filings and impurities from entering the gauge body, a magnetic filter device can be installed on the connecting pipe upon user request.
